Mixed level percussion workshop- This is a RARE opportunity to learn about Tunisian rhythms firsthand !!! &#xD;
&#xD;
Najib has been playing the darbouka since age 9. He studied at the Tunisian Conservatory &amp;amp; has accompanied numerous renowned Arabic musicians &amp;amp; singers during his career. He has played drum solos for several bellydancers in Europe &amp;amp; the US. He has worked with Reda Darwish, Aisha Ali, Hossam Ramzy, George Yazbek, Aboud Abdel 'al, Khalidah Kali, and Rebaba (to name a few). Najib will cover some Tunisian &amp;amp; Andalusian rhythms. Please bring a drum. There will be few drums available for borrow. Dancers, please bring finger cymbals so you can learn how to transpose drum rhythms to the cymbals. &#xD;
&#xD;
Time: Saturday, September 27th, 12:00 to 1:30 PM (90 minutes) &#xD;
