May 20 is the registration deadline for the Ultimate Ghawazi Workshop in Philadelphia! This workshop is being taught by Habiba, who studied with the Benat Maazin in the 1980s. Help keep this knowledge and tradition alive! ATS dancers, you learn some of the roots of your dance. Dancers in the SCA can apply what you learn to dancing around the campfires of Pennsic.

The two-day workshop is $135, or you can take Saturday only for $75.

The workshop is being sponsored by Ak'ana, who is also seeking performers for the Saturday night hafla starring Habiba.
